Pirated CDs seized in Ahmedabad, 3 held

Acting on a tip-off the crime branch team, led by sub-inspector MD Upadhyay, conducted the raid.

City Crime Branch sleuths seized pirated Compact Discs (CDs) worth Rs 31.5 lakh and arrested three persons in this connection from the Relief Road area of Ahmedabad.

Police sources said in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, acting on a tip-off the crime branch team led by sub-inspector MD Upadhyay conducted a raid at Relief Road and seized a huge quantity of pirated CDs, DVDs, VCDs and audio cassettes worth about Rs 31.5 lakh on Tuesday.

The raiding team also arrested—Yusuf Abdul Vora, Sheikh Hussain and Allharakha Pathan from the spot.
