Plantation drive at SVM

A TREE plantation drive was organised by the Eco Club of Sharda Vidya Mandir on Friday. School principal Bakshi inaugurated the drive by planting a sampling. Eco Club took part in the drive. Speaking on the occasion, the principal said it is not enough to plant a sapling but care should be taken to see it as a full-grown tree.

Children need to be told the importance of environment conservation, she said adding that they should try to bring awareness among the common people. The Eco Club secretary proposed the vote of thanks.
