All set to be a head turner in campus with the perfect wardrobe and hairstyle? We have another suggestion. Make a statement with some bizarre, vibrant and creative nail art.

Make-up artist Jojo says, “There are many nail art designs available in the market and girls should select something, which is not drastic, yet looks pretty.” Jojo suggests selecting designs matching the outfit. Jahanvi, a student of Amity University says, “Nail art is quite a craze in campus these days. There are just so many nail art salons coming up.” A popular trend these days, which youngsters prefer in nail art is to have the nails pierced and wear small studs. Some go in for sparkles that are noticeable even from a
distance.

Beauty expert Blossom Kochhar says, “Go for acrylic nails (artificial extensions applied to natural nails) or opt for gel nails — a treatment that strengthens the nails making them hard, flexible, yet glossy.” She adds that this treatment is available in many colours.

Apurva, a student of IP college says, “I got a lot of compliments for the nail art that I got done, and now I plan to get my nails pierced.” However, experts warn that one should not try nail piercing if one doesn’t have sturdy nails. If you cannot pierce your nails, just pierce the tip of your little finger as this also gives the look of piercing.
