AFTER COURT’S refusal to grant property attachment go-ahead to Lucknow police regarding Sachin Pahadi, hapless cops have started approaching accused’s mentors for his arrest!
This gave another queer turn to the Mehar case proving once again how cops’ initial reluctance snowballed into desperation to save face.
Would Pahadi’s mafia bosses oblige desperate cops? It might sound impossible cops, but instead of hunting for Pahadi, the cops are busy exploring the links of his mafia bosses.
After procuring the arrest warrant and the notice of issuing warning to the accused for property attachment, the cops had proceeded to seek the attachment order three days back.
However, the court had dismissed the plea on the grounds that the cops proceeded for attachment without waiting for the end of the notice period (one month). However, the police have filed a fresh application to court seeking the order.
The cops in the plea stated that they had failed to trace Pahadi and that the latter was removing his property from his native place. Therefore, the application stated, they required the court order to attach the property for mounting pressure on Pahadi to surrender in court.
Sources, however, revealed that Pahadi’s mentors were making arrangements for Pahadi’s surrender soon after some cops had requested them to help.
Also, Pahadi was still staying safely under patronage of an influential politician in an adjacent district!
