Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is indisposed with mild fever and a Cabinet meeting scheduled in the evening has been cancelled.

"The Prime Minister is having mild fever," his media adviser Sanjaya Baru said. He has cancelled all his engagements for this evening including his meeting with visiting US Senators.

Singh had a hectic schedule on Thursday morning beginning with a breakfast meeting with Chief Ministers of six Naxalite-affected states and also attended a meeting on the issue convened by the Home Ministry.
