At least 34 fresh dengue cases were reported at AIIMS in the national capital even as one more person died at the hospital on Thursday, taking the toll due to the disease to 16.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's son-in-law and two grandsons, who are being treated for suspected dengue at AIIMS, are in a stable condition.
Dharam Singh (20), a resident of Badarpur who was admitted at 5:00 am, passed away at 7:00 am, an AIIMS spokesman said.
Thirtyfour fresh cases were reported at the premier institute till 8:00 am on Thursday, taking the total number of patients undergoing treatment at the hospital to 99.
As many as 20 of the 99 patients were from the AIIMS campus, while five were discharged during the past 24 hours.
Nearly 200 dengue patients have been treated at AIIMS since March. Meanwhile, the NDMC served a notice to AIIMS for lack of proper sanitation.
AIIMS authorities claimed it was the first notice by the civic body this year and they had already filed a compliance report with the civic body.

Dengue virus is spread by the bite of female Aedes mosquito that breeds in stagnant water.
The disease could spread further in the next two months because the present weather helps in breeding of the mosquito.
