PM to honour Sanskrit scholar RK Sharma

The KK Handique award for 2005 will be conferred on renowned scholar Prof Ram Karan Sharma.

The KK Handique Award for 2005 will be conferred on renowned scholar Prof Ram Karan Sharma.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will present the award to Prof Sharma, who has arrived in Guwahation Sunday.

The award has been instituted in the name of legendary Sanskrit scholar Krishna Kanti Handique and it is being given to those who have been contributing towards the growth of Sanskrit language.
