Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will on Wednesday address his first campaign rally here for the Haryana assembly elections.

The prime minister will address the rally at the Gandhi ground in Ambala, 45 km from Chandigarh, in favour of Congress candidate Venod Kumar Sharma and the party candidates of the adjoining assembly constituencies.

Election to the 90-member assembly takes place Oct 13.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi Sunday addressed two rallies in Haryana, at Karnal and Sirsa towns.
