PMC releases candidates list

Party president and former minister P Kannan would contest from Modaliarpet constituency.

Puducherry Munnetra Congress (PMC) on Friday announced the second list of its candidates contesting the May 3 and 8 assembly elections in the union territory.

While party president and former minister P Kannan would contest from Modaliarpet constituency, PK Devadass will contest from Rajbhavan and Muthunarayana Reddiyar from Nettapaakkam constituencies.

The party contesting 10 seats in alliance with AIADMK is yet to announce candidates for two more constituencies.

Kannan said the candidates for Bussy and Kuruvinatham constituencies would be announced soon.
