Police foil abduction bid

Police on Monday claimed to have foiled an attempt to abduct two teenage girls at Kherka Gujjar area near Jhajjar.

Police on Monday claimed to have foiled an attempt to abduct two teenage girls at Kherka Gujjar area near Jhajjar.

Jhajjar SP, Patram Singh said the incident took place when a 15-year-old girl along with her younger sister, 13, were going to school.

Police apprehended the kidnappers near Mundakhera village located on Delhi-Haryana border and rescued the girls safely from their possession, Singh said.

A case under various Sections of the IPC has been registered against the accused, identified as Ravi and Paramjeet of Dulhera village in Jhajjar.
