The police continued quizzing doctors and staffers in connection with the sensational Rahul Mahajan drug abuse case in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Internal medicine specialist Prasad Rao, who headed the five-member team, hospital's director of medical services Anupam Sibal, and Mukund Pandey were quizzed in detail about the line of treatment given to Rahul, police sources said.

The sources said, "Police want to know whether Rahul's condition at the time of his admission in the hospital in the wee hours of June 2 warranted ventilator support and why was he kept in the ICU for over four days."

They are also seeking detailed answers on the various medical tests conducted on Rahul, his condition during his stay in the ICU and the type of food he had during the period.

They are planning to interrogate all employees involved, directly or indirectly, in providing treatment to Mahajan Junior and have so far quizzed over 25 doctors and staffers out of the nearly 50-odd summoned by them.

An FIR was registered against Apollo on June 9 for giving false information to police officials in the case, a day after a city court directed it to take action against the premier private hospital.
