Police officials are also wondering why most of the hoax e-mails were sent from Madhya Pradesh and so many pranksters emerge here.

An e-mail sent from Bhopal was traced to a cyber café in Chhola and the youth Sumit Tamrakar was arrested. The e-mail had been sent to a newspaper’s website.

Subsequently, another e-mail sent from Katni was also traced. This time an 11-year-old boy had played the prank. However, two other e-mails sent from Madhya Pradesh to a news channel’s office are yet to be traced.

Besides, an e-mail that had reached the President’s office was sent from Indore. Police are interrogating the cyber café owner and many others but are yet to catch the miscreant.

Apart from these, two other e-mails claiming responsibility for the blasts and sent to a news channel’s office are yet to be traced. Intelligence officials are coordinating with telecom officials to nab the senders.
