Police sensitisation meeting from today

THE AJAK branch of Police Headquarters (PHQ), Bhopal, is organising a two-day training workshop on sensitisation towards the weaker sections of society on December 7 and 8.

THE AJAK branch of Police Headquarters (PHQ), Bhopal, is organising a two-day training workshop on sensitisation towards the weaker sections of society on December 7 and 8.

Additional Director General of Police M P George would inaugurate the workshop at 10 am on December 7 at the Police Training and Research Institute (PTRI), Jehangirabad, here.

On the first day, Bhopal Range IG Sanjeev Kumar Singh would speak on the topic of atrocities on women, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other weaker sections and the difficulties faced in their investigation and errors committed in investigation of such offences.

Psychologist Dr Kakoli Roy would speak on the ways to tackle stress and work related tensions. AJAK Inspector General of Police Pawan Jain would deliver an address on community policing.

On the last day of the workshop, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department Additional Commissioner A K Upadhyay would throw light on the various facilities being provided by the government to weaker sections of society.
Bhopal Range DIG Anuradha Shankar would apprise participants about ways to be sensitive towards persons belonging to weaker strata. Bhopal ADM M B Ojha would deliver lecture on problems related to caste certificates.
