Police to register case against Apollo

A Delhi Court on Thursday directed the police to register a case against doctors and management of Apollo Hospital.

A Delhi Court on Thursday directed the police to register a case against doctors and management of Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, for giving false information to public servants in the Rahul Mahajan drug abuse case.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kamini Lau also allowed the investigating officer to seize relevant records of the hospital, such as the casualty register and Medico-Legal Certificate register if required for the probe.

The court has ordered SHO of Sarita Vihar police station to register an FIR under section 182 of IPC and investigate the allegation involved.
