Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray’s comments against north Indians are in bad taste and also violate the rights granted to us by the Indian Constitution. He has opted for this path because he has failed to make any impact politically. He must be prosecuted for sedition and instigating violence.

Pakistani elections
It seems that Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf considers the world naïve. Otherwise, why would he want to talk about conducting free and fair elections in Pakistan when he controls the judiciary, bureaucracy and security forces? There is no accountability in the country. US President George W. Bush and Musharraf are fooling the people of Pakistan.

Karnataka terror camps
The unearthing of terror camps in the jungles of Karnataka points towards a major intelligence failure. Besides the Intelligence Bureau, the state police is also responsible for intelligence gathering. But thanks to politicians, the police is left with little time to discharge their duties. It is this inability of the intelligence agencies that encourages subversive elements to operate in the country without fear. Those found guilty in this case must be punished.
