Bharat Nirman — an ambitious “four year business plan for rural infrastructure” and an approach to transform rural India and bring on par with urban centres — is the theme of the 2009 calendar.

The calendar, designed and developed by the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity, was released on Wednesday by Anand Sharma, Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting.
