There is a plot between Block D and E of Ardee City, which falls under Wazirabad village. According to law, residents of the locality cannot get a wall constructed on the plot. One can spot stray animals roaming in the area.

The stink and dismal cleanliness make life difficult for people living nearby.

Besides, there is another locality near Block D, Indira Colony, which is not a part of Ardee City.

Though there are four gates, Ardee City is known as an open gate colony. The locality shares boundaries with Wazirabad village.

Residents of the village have an easy access to the locality. Though there are 20 security guards on duty at a time, nobody inquires about the identity of visitors.

“We are getting the road carpeting done. The work will be completed in one month. Residents will have to pay extra for security, for which they are not ready,” said Anil Hasija, vice-president, Ardee City Management.

He said the MCG in the last one month, has shifted 35 pigs and other stray animals. “ But, we can't bring in the changes over night."
