The stars stuck to their strengths on the red carpet on Day 6 of the Cannes Film FestivalAishwarya Rai Bachchan: We love that Ash went the traditional route in this exquisite Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla creation, but it’s a tad monotonous. Shortening the length and adding a dupatta and churidar would’ve been more impactful.

A more imaginative hairdo wouldn’t have hurt either. Earlier in the day, she surprised us in this all-black look. It was completely unexpected, and the more we look at it, the more we love it. Red lips and nails deliver a knockout punch that no accessories could.

Zoe Saldana
At a photocall in the daytime, the actor rocked an Emmanuel Ungaro mini with a voluminous beige and black blouse. Like several others at the festival, she chose to skip the jewellery and went with bold lips and shoes to match.

Selita Ebanks
There isn’t a day at Cannes without a gown that has a long train. Selita kept up with the trend in this sweeping neon gown with sheer accents on the bodice, replete with crystals.

Marion Cotillard
The face of Dior showed her loyalty by wearing this fresh-off-the-runway strapless dress with a high-low hem. We have a minor gripe with the pointy shoes, but the make-up and hair are flawless.
