BSP LEADER Ashok Srivastav and members of the Citizen Forum for Social Action took to Gandhigiri to demand suspension of late night power rostering. The BSP leaders and CSFA members handed over bunches of red rose to general manager power corporation Suresh Kumar in support of their demand.

Impressed by Gandhigiri, Ram assured the delegation that all efforts would be made to end emergency roistering at night. He also distributed sweets among the members of delegation.
Emergency power rostering during night hours has affected students, traders and industries the most.
Talking to mediapersons, Srivastav and district unit president of the Shia Federation Mehdi Advocate said they would request the district magistrate to exempt the city from power rostering till Id-ul-Fitra.
