Powerful grenade recovered from bus in Assam

A powerful grenade hidden in a plastic container was recovered from a Nagaland State Transport Corporation bus in Assam's Jorhat district. The explosive was found from the bus carrying 26 passengers during a routine check at Nagajanka by a police team led by additional superintendent of police Bedanta Borkakoty.

The explosive was found from the bus carrying 26 passengers during a routine check at Nagajanka by a police team led by additional superintendent of police Bedanta Borkakoty at around 11pm on Friday.

The driver, conductor and handyman of the bus going from Mokokchung to Dimapur were detained at the Moriani police station, he said.
