Praveen Mahajan's judicial custody extended

Praveen was produced amidst tight security before a magistrate at Bhoiwada court.

A local court on Wednesday extended till June 28 the judicial custody of Praveen Mahajan, held on the charge of murder of his elder brother BJP leader Pramod Mahajan.

The Magistrate had on Tuesday ordered the Superintendent of Central Prison to produce Praveen today for remand and also to hear his plea for undergoing psychiatric tests.

After remanding the accused to judicial custody, the court asked the prosecution and Praveen's lawyer to argue on Praveen's plea for psychiatric tests.
