The meeting was presided over by city president Sita Ram Yadav, who said the Samajwadi Janata Dal would stage a dharna on June 11 regarding these problems and a state level conference would be held in Lucknow during the last week of June.

State general secretary of Samajwadi Janata Dal Jitendra Singh Yadav said that the Samajwadi Janata Dal always desired to make India a great nation.

He said senior leaders of the newly formed Jan Morcha like former prime minister Vishwa Nath Pratap Singh and MP Raj Babbar should take a pledge that they would not extend support to the Samajwadi Party in future. Only then the people and other political parties would have full faith in Jan Morcha.

Speaking on the occasion, city spokesperson Manoj Paswan said that all problems of the city would be highlighted through a demonstration on June 11.
Several people, including Satish Kumar Sharma (advocate), Dilip Savita, Mahesh Chandra Kannojia, Anup Srivastava and Surendra Kashyap were present in the meeting.
