A prison sentry has been suspended. Jail Superintendent Gopal Tamrakar said that Ram Singh had complained of stomach pain and was admitted to jail hospital on Friday afternoon.

He had blood on his stomach and told doctor that he suffered from piles. However, his blood went down sharply and he had to be shifted to Hamidia Hospital where the bleeding increased.

As doctors examined him, they were shocked to find that his testicles were missing. “It is shocking that he did not tell anybody during the day and even had a bath but managed to bear the pain and keep it to himself”, Tamrakar said.

The chopped off body parts were later found in the bathroom outside the barrack, he added. Ram Singh surprisingly did not lose his consciousness.

“Either it is an extreme form of sadomasochism inflicted on self probably for a revenge with himself”, surmised a policeman investigating the case. “Why was he hiding the injury is a mystery unto itself”, he added. Apart from magisterial inquiry, the police are also investigating the incident.
