Probe will prove my innocence: Natwar

The former External Affairs Minister is among those accused in Volcker row.

Former External Affairs Minister and senior Congress leader Natwar Singh on Saturday said the outcome of the investigations by Justice Pathak Committee would prove his innocence in the Volcker episode.

"The Pathak Committee report will prove my innocence in the Volcker episode," he told a kisan rally in Bharatpur.

Within a short period, India would be one of the three superpowers in the world, Singh said adding multinationals were keen to invest in India which was touching the height of development.

Several other Congress leaders also spoke on the occasion.
