Dr KM Gupta, a Professor in the Department of Applied Mechanics at the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) has been invited to the USA to present his research paper at an international conference on Composite Materials/Nano Engineering (ICCE-14).
He will present his research paper 'Development and Characterisation of Natural (Palmyra) Fibre and Glass Fibre reinforced Hybrid Composite' at Boulder, Colorado on July 2, 2006. This newer material is light and strong, and has ample scope to be used in machines and construction work in future.
This travel of Professor KM Gupta is sponsored by Government of India under the TEQIP scheme.
During the trip, he will visit Colorado University and other important institutions. Prior to this conference, the research papers of Dr Gupta have been accepted in Durban (South Africa), Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore conferences. He is also a well-known author of technical books and has penned 14 books so far.
