More than 3,000 residents in this society, developed by the Unitech, have been living without these facilities for the last 13 years. “The builders sent out advertisements in leading newspapers promising facilities like swimming pool, gymnasium, nursery school shopping centre and even a post office inside the complex,” says Atul Batra, president of the Resident Welfare Association of Heritage City.

These facilities are locked up because of lack of maintenance by the builder. “We have to take permission of the guard to let us get the area cleaned as it is becoming the breeding ground for diseases,” he said.

Kitti Oberoi, who came to the colony 16 years ago, also feels cheated as “the builders are using tactics to delay the matter in court.”
