Prostitution racket in Delhi busted, five arrested

A raid was conducted after a tip-off about the gang's operations in Prashant Vihar area in northwest Delhi.

Five people, including three women, were arrested on Sunday for running a prostitution racket in northwest Delhi, police said.

One of the arrested women has claimed to be a former Miss Jammu.

"We came to know that she was claiming to be a former Miss Jammu, which was not true," said Deputy Commissioner of Police Virendra Singh.

"We had received several complaints about them and were on their lookout," said Singh.
