Punjab girl alleges rape by NRI father

The girl alleged in her complaint that her Dubai based father raped her on May 12 after gagging her.

A court on Friday asked police to register a case and investigate a complaint of a 19-year-old girl who alleged she was raped by her NRI father.

The Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate Poonam Ratti sought an action taken report in the case by June 16.

The girl alleged in her complaint that her Dubai based father raped her in the wee hours of May 12 after gagging her, tying her hands and feet and leaving her unconscious.

She alleged that her father was also abusive with her mother.
