Addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club this afternoon, Qadir said his contract with PTV for expert comments was for the one-day series and Test matches.

The PTV reportedly terminated his contract after Qadir allegedly made some comments on the inability of Pakistani fast bowlers to reverse swing the old ball.

Defending his position, Qadir said he never passed any such comments that Pakistani bowlers had tampered with the ball. He also said that he would seek redressal of his grievances in the court.

Qadir further said that being a national hero and a leading wicket taker for the country in Test matches he was disappointed with the attitude of PTV.

Last week, during a special cricket programme, that enjoys mass viewership in Pakistan, Qadir said: "We all know the ball has always been made up by Pakistani fast bowlers, but with so much scrutiny on this series, this has not been possible.
