A slight intensity earthquake, measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale, shook the India-Myanmar Border region on Friday night.

The quake, occurred on Friday night, was epicentered at a latitude of 24 degree North and a longitude of 94.9 degree East, the MeT office said in New Delhi.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualty.
