Rahman prays at Ajmer shrine for success of CWG song

Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman today paid obeisance to sufi saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti at his shrine in Ajmer for a successful performance at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.

Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman on Saturday paid obeisance to sufi saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti at his shrine in Ajmer for a successful performance at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.

Rahman, during his half an hour stay at the shrine, prayed for the success of his Commonwealth Games theme song 'India Bula Liya' and offered Namaz.

The music maestro had to re-work on the song, making it a peppier one, after the composition failed to match expectations.
