Rahul's Talent Search a hit in J&K

The talent search campaign launched by the Youth Congress proved to be a hit among the professionals, who participated in it and now aspire to work with their "role model" Rahul Gandhi.

The talent search campaign launched by the Youth Congress proved to be a hit among the professionals, who participated in it and now aspire to work with their "role model" Rahul Gandhi.

"I had appeared in the talent search for selection to the post of State Youth Congress president. I aspire to work with Rahul Gandhi," Congress Corporator, Namrita Sharma, one of the 10 women, who faced a four-member interview panel at Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee office.

Like her, another aspirant among and lawyer Khakashan Anjum said, "I flew in here from Delhi to take part in the interview. It is great concept to hunt for talent to become a politician. I want to be one".

Like her, Dr Arvind too joined the race only after watching the activities of the Rahul Gandhi for over a year. "He is heart-throb of youngsters. He wants to clean politics of communalism, regionalism, corruption and crime. I want to work with him," he said.

Lauding the youngsters, All India Youth Congress Committee chief Ashok Tanwar said, "Youth of Jammu and Kashmir is energetic and intelligent. We will try and involve them in building not only the Youth Congress in the state, but also take help of them building the party elsewhere."
