Gandhi began his speech by saying: “Every individual has a mother. There is no such person who doesn’t have a mother.”

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is snatching farmers’ mothers by taking away their lands,” he added. “He is giving away our mothers (lands) to others,” Gandhi said.
