All India Congress Committee General Secretary Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday urged the students to be a part of political system to change it.
"I cannot change the politics of Goa. If you people can join than definitely you can," Gandhi while interacting with the students of Goa university said today.
"We have no business to complain about bad politics if we don’t involve ourselves in it to bring a change," he said.
The interaction which went on almost an hour at Goa University ground was attended by around 1,500 students pulled in from various colleges.
Gandhi said that he is against allowing criminals in the political system. "I look after Youth Congress and NSUI and my both the organisations don’t have anyone with criminal background… Even if some people where there we have shown them the doors," he said replying to a question.
Asking the students to participate in political process, Gandhi said that youngsters should decide who should lead the organisation. "We want to involve youngster into the organisation and that’s how we can come up," he said.
He appealed students to join NSUI, which will be holding membership drive and organisational polls in the country.

{{/usCountry}}Replying to a question on jobs, Gandhi said that "jobs will not fall from sky… you should create the jobs."
Gandhi who arrived in the state today was received by Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat, GPCC Chief Subhash Shirodkar and Youth Congress members.
