Railway meet on large bridges

INDIAN RAILWAYS Track Machine Training Centre (IRTMTC) organised a seminar on ?Track machine and construction of large bridges upon new tracks in hilly areas? on completion of 23 years of establishment of the IRTMTC here on Wednesday.

INDIAN RAILWAYS Track Machine Training Centre (IRTMTC) organised a seminar on ‘Track machine and construction of large bridges upon new tracks in hilly areas’ on completion of 23 years of establishment of the IRTMTC here on Wednesday.

North Central Railway (NCR) General Manager (GM) Buddh Prakash was the chief guest while NCR Chief Engineer RN Verma was the keynote speaker at inaugural session of the seminar.

Prakash said success of any organisation depended upon level of training given to employees and gave suggestions for betterment of the centre and trainees.

Verma discussed the prospects and importance of traction machine training centres and briefed about the importance of traction machines in laying and conservation of the railway tracks.

Earlier, IRTMTC Principal SK Srivastava welcomed the guests and briefed the achievements and future planning of the training centre.

NCR Chief Bridge Engineer VK Duggal, CPOH Deputy Chief Engineer SM Pandey and IRTMTC instructors participated in the technical sessions and gave information about different technical advancements, problems and suggestions on the topic of the seminar.

Vigilance department would continue such drive to apprehend the passengers travelling on transferred tickets, fake tickets and on irregular tickets, said NCR CPRO, BP Pandey in a press release today.
