In a shock upset, Maharashtra’s Kavita Raut beat national record holder Preeja Sreedharan (Railways) in 10,000m with a meet record of 32:41.31.
Andhra Pradesh's Abdul Najeeb Qureshi, who had earlier won the 100m, completed a grand double annexing the 200m gold with a timing of 21.06 secs.
