Rain played havoc with the men's quarter-finals at Wimbledon on Wednesday with matches interrupted twice before they had reached the end of the first set.
The first enforced break came only quarter of an hour after play got underway. That lasted one hour and three minutes.
The players then got warmed up again but after barely two minutes of action on centre court, British number one Tim Henman and Sebastien Grosjean were forced off again by a fresh shower.
Grosjean was leading 5-1 and was about to serve for the first set when the second interruption came.
On court number one, where the players had just completed their second warm-up when the rain started again, Australia's Mark Philippoussis was 30-0 up in the third game with the first two having gone with serve.
