With reference to the editorial It’s raining problems (June 26), it is ironic that the rains for which we yearn before the onset of the monsoon become a problem.

With reference to the editorial It’s raining problems (June 26), it is ironic that the rains for which we yearn before the onset of the monsoon become a problem. There are heavy rains in areas of Rajasthan, while places that used to be flooded earlier have started getting less rainfall. Will we just be mute spectators and watch environmental degradation or take positive steps like rainwater harvesting?
