Rains lashed many parts of the Capital on Tuesday as Delhiites woke up to an overcast and chilly morning.

The rains had its affect on traffic with blocks reported from many parts of the city.

The Capital received 2.2 cm of rains since 6.45 am this morning, Met Office said.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 11.2 degree Celsius, one notch above normal. The maximum was 20.8 degree Celisus, two degrees below normal.
The weatherman said there could be few spells of rains during the day accompanied by hailstorm or thundersquall.
