BJP President Rajnath Singh demanded a white paper on Sunday on internal terrorism and external aggression faced by the country.

"The Centre should publish a white paper on the internal terrorism and external aggression and the government should take the Opposition and the country into confidence on that," Singh told reporters in Raigarh.

Demanding that Naxalism be treated as a national problem, he said about 17 per cent of the total population are affected by it and to solve the menace the Centre should provide sufficient financial assistance and security forces to the affected states.

He also claimed that the Maoists of Nepal and India have links with Pakistani Intelligence agency ISI.

The BJP President assured Centre of all assistance from the BJP and NDA ruled states to deal with Naxalism.

On external aggression, he claimed India has threat from three sides, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal as ISI was exporting terrorism to India from those places.

"Varanasi blast has proved terrorists were having links with Bangladesh and the United States and others are also convinced that Pakistan was the epi-centre of terrorism," Singh alleged.
