Rajinikanth’s vital parameters have returned to normal levels and he is spending time with his family members, the bulletin said. He is responding well to treatment, taking oral diet and is cheerful, it added.
Meanwhile, chief minister J Jayalalithaa called Rajinikanth’s wife Latha Rajinikanth to inquire about his health, while his fans continued to perform special prayers in various temples across the state for his speedy recovery.
The 60-year-old actor was hospitalised — for the third time in over three weeks —in the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre on May 13 as he suffered from acute gastro-intestinal and respiratory problems. (With agency inputs)
