ON THE eve of Swami Vivekanand?s birth anniversary, children and youths organised a rally oday and took a pledge to emulate ideals of the Swami.

ON THE eve of Swami Vivekanand’s birth anniversary, children and youths organised a rally oday and took a pledge to emulate ideals of the Swami.

The rally taken out under the banner of Community Development Council and Technical Employees Welfare Association took off from Roshanpura Square and culminated at Swami Vivekanand Square at the polytechnic.

Organiser of the rally Mukesh Lalji and other participants garlanded the statue of Swami Vivekanand and took the pledge to carry forth his mission.

All the children participating in the rally were wearing saffron attire characteristic of Swami Vivekanand and were carrying placards urging people to emulate his ideals and help meet the objectives he had set for himself and the human race in general.
