Ram Navmi celebrated with enthusiasm

RAM NAVMI WAS celebrated with great devotion in the city on Thursday. Temples were decorated on the occasion and splendid cultural and religious events marked the day. Devotees participated with full religious fervor in the events.

RAM NAVMI WAS celebrated with great devotion in the city on Thursday. Temples were decorated on the occasion and splendid cultural and religious events marked the day. Devotees participated with full religious fervor in the events.

Religious rituals took place at Purusharthi Vidya Mandir, Meerapur in the morning. 'Bhandara' was also held on the occasion, which was attended by many.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad conducted puja at its 16 divisions in the city.
Likewise, processions were taken out by Kalyani Devi Prakhand.

Procession by Sai Bhakta Mandal taken out from Mahaveeran Gali and took the route of Bansmandi, Hatia, Sulaki crossing, Hewett Road, Johnstonganj, and culminated at Sai temple. Kshatriya Swarnakaar Dharmashala, Arya Samaj, Katra, Hanuman temple at Tripolia, and Gayatri Pragyapeeth in Kareli also celebrated the event.

On the occasion, Vinod Rathod was invited to perform at Ramrajayabhishek Samaroh organised by Shri Pattharchatti Ramlila Committee.
Devotional songs were presented by several artistes on the occasion. Several other popular artistes were also invited on the occasion. Siddhi Dhamal was presented by a group from Gujarat.

Ashtami was also observed during which Devi temples were all embellished with flowers. Mahagauri swaroop was worshipped by the devotees. Navmi is being observed on Friday at Mahashaktipeeth Maa Kalyani Devi.

The devotees will worship Maa Siddhidatri. Sringar will be done with flowers and jewellery.
