Ramadoss visits AIIMS to review medical facilities

Accompanied by AIIMS Director, he visited the emergency wing and enquired patients about their condition.

Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss on Wednesday visited AIIMS to review the medical facilities at the premier hospital where nearly 175 dengue patients are admitted.

Accompanied by AIIMS Director P Venugopal, he took a round of the new private ward on the third floor, which has been converted into an emergency wing to treat dengue cases, and met patients inquiring about their condition.

He also visited the casualty ward where some dengue patients are being treated. He spent almost an hour at the hospital.

Besides Venugopal, the minister was accompanied by hospital Medical Superintendent DK Sharma and other doctors.
