Congress general secretary Digvijaya Singh said here on Sunday that yoga guru Baba Ramdev may get his close aide Balkrishna killed because “he knows all the secrets of Baba Ramdev”, who he alleged has a “criminal mindset”.
“That is why I will request the central government to pay special attention to Balkrishna’s security. His life is precious,” Singh told newspersons.
Balkrishna is currently in jail following his arrest by the CBI on July 20 for allegedly submitting fake and forged documents to obtain an Indian passport. The CBI has said in its chargesheet that Balkrishna's real name is Narayan Prasad Subedi and he is a resident of Nepal's Syangja district.
Commenting on Ramdev’s demand that the Centre bring back all the black money stashed away in foreign lands, Singh said, “The biggest (amount of) black money is in real estate. How many lands does Baba own and where?”
Responding to a query on Anna Hazare, Singh said he is an RSS agent who will support the BJP in the assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka and other states.
