Rane's son quits Youth Cong post

Nitesh Rane, son of suspended Congress leader Narayan Rane, on Wednesday quit the post of general secretary of Mumbai Youth Congress.

Nithesh made the announcement at a press conference in presence of around 170 of his supporters.

After the press conference near Mumbai Congress office, where Chief Minister Ashok Chavan was scheduled to meet the party functionaries on Wednesday, there was a scuffle between his supporters and Congress workers.
