Rani shines at ISCKON show

Thousands of her fans turned at the venue to have a glimpse of their favourite star. Even dignitaries sharing the dais with her were no less struck by Rani’s charm.

Industries Minister Babulal Gaur was so impressed by the ace star’s devotion to Lord Krishna that he described her Rani Gopi Mukherjee.

The police had a tough time making way for Rani as fans jostled for a glimpse. Speaking on the occasion, Rani informed that her entire family is devoted to the ISKCON movement.

Owner of the Ford Motors, Alfred Ford, presided over the function. He said everyone was chasing for wealth in this materialistic life but actual satisfaction lies in spiritual association. Chanting of Hare Ram, Hare Krishna bhajans give immense calm of the heart, he remarked.

Setting up of Information Technology Park and Aircraft training institute were on the anvil, he added. Thousands of Krishna admirers even from foreign countries also joined the inaugural ceremony.

Minister of State for School Education Paras Jain, Industries Secretary Raghav Chandra, Divisional Commissioner Jaideep Govind, IG Anil Kumar, industrialist Kailash Sahara, Rani’s father Ram Mukurjee were among those who spoke on the occasion.
