Veerendra kumar Dohre's married daughter Pratima Singh has accused her father of sexually assaulting her for five years. According to her, the man even tried to poison her when she got pregnant.
The daughter claims that all those who tried to help her from the "wolf" (her father) were implicated in false cases and subjected to third degree methods.
Disgusted by continuous rape, she married one Dr Satya Prakash to save herself. Her father then told her to leave her husband and continue satisfying his sexual urge. When refused, he kidnapped and tortured her.
According to Pratima, her husband and in-laws were implicated in false cases at the behest of his resourceful father. When she became six months pregnant, she had to live in a hideout to save her skin. But her father somehow traced her and tried to poison her.
She got strength when her cause was espoused by human rights organization Manushree. The President of the organization Madhu Poornima Kiswar contacted the Principal Secretary Home SK Agarwal. The state government has ordered an inquiry against the rapist father.
