Why the city administration has failed to provide good transport facilities to commuters?
We are working on it. We have discussed the issue with the state government to provide more buses for the district. We have also decided to improve transportation system in the city.

How will the present scenario change?
We are going to have 200 buses in the city. These buses will be intra-city and inter-city. The city will have Rapid Metro service by 2013. This will certainly increase the capacity of public transport system. We can assure people that within six months, they will get better transportation facilities.

Why the city administration has not been able to control shared autos?
No doubt autos are the backbone of the city’s transport system, but drivers cannot violate the law.
