"Non-street vendors could earn their livelihood with dignity as the vendors' bill had an overriding effect on all laws and acts of police and municipal corporations who allegedly harass them. With 40% representation from vendor organizations, thhe bill has a mandatory provision to form town vending committees," said Sharma.

Claiming that during his tenure as MP, he had tried to address the aspirations of people from all communities, Sharma demanded implementation of schemes for SC, ST, OBC and other oppressed sections of the society in letter and spirit.

The MP also sought people's support for watching the interests of Jammu, claiming that Congress would be a part of all successive governments in the state, and was the only party which catered to the aspirations of all sections of the society.
